About Us
We are a Racine-based nonprofit building a community where young people develop the skills, confidence, and opportunities they deserve.
Our Story
The Main Project Community was founded on a simple belief: that every young person, given the right environment and opportunity, can build something meaningful for themselves and their community.
We started with a clear-eyed view of what Racine's youth needed most — not just programs, but real pathways. Real jobs. Real skills. A real place to belong.
Project Restoration, our flagship employment program, was born from that vision. Today, teens in our program mow lawns, clean bins, and show up for their community — while building the habits and confidence that carry them far beyond this first job.

Our Mission
Provide a community space where youth and young people can develop professional and life skills through hands-on learning — preparing them for a future full of opportunity.
Our Vision
A positive, creative space focused on unity and supporting all things good — where every young person feels seen, supported, and set up to thrive.
What We Stand For
Real Work
We believe learning happens through doing. Our programs put youth in real work environments with real responsibilities.
Community First
Everything we do is rooted in Racine. We hire locally, serve locally, and invest back into the neighborhoods we call home.
Belonging
We create spaces where young people feel welcome, valued, and supported — not just as workers, but as people.
